Sabrina De Angelis
Founder​

Sabrina ​is the visionary Founder of
Own Your Voice Academy dedicated to empowering the next generation of environmental leaders. With a deep passion for sustainability, advocacy, and leadership, Sabrina combines her personal experiences and global perspective to inspire youths, frontline communities, athletes, and health professionals to become confident change makers.
Fluent in multiple languages:
English, French, Italian, and Spanish, and back by a strong academic background in international relations and environmental strategy, Sabrina creates vibrant, hands-on training programs that ignite leadership and empower change makers.
Sabrina champions bold leadership and inspires transformative action in creating lasting environment and social impact.
Sara Louis-Ayo
Outreach & Engagement Coordinator

Sara is a community advocate, cultural organizer, and justice-centered thinker rooted in African folklore and community wisdom. She approaches every space with the belief that justice is a worldview one that sees people, land, and struggle as connected. Her environmental justice work centers communities shaped by displacement and resilience.
Sara uplifts individual, youth leadership, community-driven solutions, and creative advocacy grounded in culture and lived experience. Guided, grounded, and community-rooted, she moves as a bridge between past and present, always working toward a world where justice is seen, felt, and protected.
Travis L. Barley
Director of Outreach & Engagement

Travis is an environmental communications consultant known for helping organizations communicate climate and sustainability issues with clarity, impact, and strategic purpose. With nearly a decade of
experience across the Caribbean, he aids government agencies, NGOs, development groups, and innovation hubs to strengthen public engagement and amplify environmental action.
His work includes supporting the World Bank–funded Caribbean Climate Innovation Centre, Jamaica’s NEPA, Marlie Technology Park, and the Global Affairs Canada–Caribbean Biodiversity Fund CORE Project, where he develops communication systems, capacity-building programs, and toolkits for Conservation Trust Funds across the Caribbean area.
As a volunteer, he contributes to youth development, education and innovation through his work with NeurMinds International Limited as Director of Community Outreach and Partnerships, as well as to environmental conservation of the Blue and John Crow Mountains National
Park as a communications volunteer with the Jamaica Conservation
Development Trust.

Additionally, Travis is a globally adaptable communicator, who specializes in strategic messaging, stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and climate storytelling where he helps organizations navigate resource-constrained contexts with culturally attuned communication. He empowers organizations worldwide to tell stories that build trust, galvanize communities, and deliver lasting impact.

Oluoch is committed to bridging the gap between energy equity and environmental justice. His work aligns deeply with Own Your Voice Academy’s mission - empowering individuals and communities to lead with clarity and courage in tackling environmental challenges.
